Book Review: Penny Warner- "How to Survive a Killer Seance"

Book Review:
Penny Warner- "How to Survive a Killer Seance"

This book was cute. It's a good easy read mystery that you can finish on a plane ride or just a night when you've got some time to kill. It's not as spooky as it sounds, the main character, Presley Parker, throws a "haunted" party to show off a company's new 4D contraption that makes the image look like an actual person standing in the room with you. Of course things go wrong, people start dying, and she's on the case to find the killer. Not the literary sensation of the century, but definitely a quirky, cute, fun read.

Book Review: Beth Moore- "So Long, Insecurity"

Book Review:
Beth Moore- "So Long, Insecurity"

I LOVED this book. After struggling with insecurity most of my life I never realized how much of a stronghold it had on my life. It affected my relationships and I saw it popping up in my marriage and knew I needed to do something about it. Beth Moore is such an amazing teacher, woman of God, and I love that she puts herself out there for full scrutiny. She's definitely been there and back with insecurity and this book was definitely inspired. I've had such a freedom after reading it and God's really impacted my life through it. Definitely recommend it to all the ladies out there!!

Missouri

Finally moved into Missouri! We got a cute little duplex out in the boonies, it's fantastic. We both love it! We're still working on furnishing it and we don't have internet yet, which is why there's been a lack of posts! I do get limited internet on my phone though, so e-mails are always nice to brighten my day. Real mail is even better! I check my mailbox 6 times a day when there's nothing in there hoping the mail just hasn't came yet. I eventually completely got rid of my facebook, which has been a nice change.  We got a puppy, her name is Helga Beth Hell-Raiser Hufflepuff, and she's a little terror. Not much more to report. I've been keeping myself busy cleaning, baking, cooking, and more cleaning. Well, that's what I do when I'm not chasing & cleaning up after my evil puppy. John's just been doing work, school for work, and more work. I do have a few pictures to share though!

The outside of our new home the day we moved in!

I'm sure you've read about the flooding recently... it covered our roads.

So that's about it! We're surviving the storms (barely) and I'm trying to survive boredom with John in school. Visitors always welcome!
